Best Answer Okay, first not sure what you result of over 11 is diabetes after a GTT. Diabetes is when you have less insulin, or insulin resistence and you blood sugar levels go to high for you body to cope with.
Cholesterol ... total should be less than 5, LDL is the bad cholesterol, if memory is right, should be less than 3.4, HDL is the good cholesterol and should be above 1, Trig's are the blood fats and I think less than 2. So basically your cholesterol is okay.
After your extra details .......
I'm not sure, we dont test insulin levels here with a GTT we test serum glucose levels. So if your insulin is high, it wouldn't mean diabetes. A diagnosis of diabetes is made purely on the serum glucose levels. Found soem interesting stuff on mean about insulin levels, not sue if you are. You can have a high is - over 7 is diabetic, between 5.5 and 7 is pe-diabetes and you would be sent confused and mean sugar levels fasting glucose, depends on what the reading for a GTT. A 2hr post load glucose google, here is one link (highly technical though) ...
